New research data released by the Insolvency and Trustee Service of Australia has revealed the top ten cities in Australia for bankruptcy and insolvency.
This inglorious list is completely dominated by cities in New South Wales and Queensland, and due to the size of populations in urban centres, there is a higher proportion of postcodes in large metropolitan cities than in regional areas.
The top ten cities for bankruptcy and insolvency, as listed by postcode are as follows:
1. Mr Druitt (NSW) 2. Campbelltown (NSW) 3. Bundaberg (QLD) 4. Liverpool (NSW) 5. Nerang (QLD) 6. Centenary Heights (QLD) 7. Southport (QLD) 8. Hervey Bay (QLD) 9. Frazer Park (NSW) 10. Caboolture (QLD)
It may also be of interest to note the postcodes of the areas with the highest incidences of bankruptcy and insolvency in the other States of Australia.
